About The Club
Shoeburyness Model Railway Club would like to thank all our exhibitors, traders and visitors for making this years show an outstanding event.

Our next show is scheduled to take place on

16th & 17th November 2019

37th Annual Festival of Model Railways and Hobbies

Every year the club hosts the Annual Festival of Model Railways & Hobbies which is certainly the largest two day show in Essex.
Featuring predominantly model railways as we are a model railway club, but not forgetting that many skills are transferable between other hobbies too, so we also feature other hobbies as well, so we also have Model Boats, Model Planes and Model Cars. So overall a nice mix of modelling hobbies all under one roof, along with our many trader friends supplying all the tools, books and modelling items you might need the show is a balanced and well attended weekend for all the family.

"Thousands flock to Model Railway Exhibition" To quote our local Newspaper, The Echo. In fact we have visitors from all over the UK, including a number of visitors from europe who make the trip into part of their holidays.

The 2019 show is at the same venue as 2018, which featuring flat floor access for those visitors who have mobility problems, refreshment area so you can rest have a cup of tea during the day and for the more energetic, there are full gym facilities and a swimming and diving complex onsite.
So you can really make a full day of it, take the kids for swim then come to the show!

The event is held during November and is staged at the
Southend Leisure and Tennis Centre,
Garon Park,
